Audio Accessories manufactures professional-quality patch bays for the broadcast, post-production, recording and telecommunications industries. Headquartered in Southwestern New Hampshire, Audio Accessories has been at the forefront of the industry for over fifty years, when the company’s founder moved to New Hampshire to begin manufacturing incredibly reliable, high-end audio patch bays. From the very beginning, Audio Accessories has known that a direct connection with the customer is essential to any successful install and the staff at Vintage King are equally committed to making sure that this connection is made on time, on budget and on spec.

Since 1980, Audio Accessories Mini (Bantam/TT) jacks and panels have become our most popular audio patchbays. With capacity for 48 or 52 jacks per row, they make it possible to incorporate more patching into each rack—particularly important in mobile units where space is at a premium. Remember, our audio jacks and panels are manufactured start to finish right here in Marlow, NH, USA, where time stands still and the moose run free! 
Panel Highlights:

<LI>Panels come equipped with EIA mounting slots and tie bar.

<LI>All one rack-unit (1RU) panels (1-3/4”) come standard with 2-line designation strips.

<LI>All two rack-unit (2RU) panels (3-1/2”) come standard with 4-line designation strips.

<LI>If you have a special need, we’ll design a panel to any specification. Just call.

<LI>Hot-solder-dipped terminals, fanned for ease in wiring.

<LI>Offset ground terminals for bussing of grounds are available upon request.

For exceptional flexibility, check out Audio’s exclusive Quick-Switch™ normalling system. We’ve taken our standard 2x48x2RU, .172” MINI (Bantam/TT) patchbay and brought the Tip, Ring, and Sleeve of each jack out to individual 3-Pin EDAC connectors. Then it’s mounted on the rear of a 3-inch deep “SHORTI” box, with a cabling support tray behind for bundling incoming cables.
 
The Quick-Switch™ normalling pod (located on the rear of the unit) allows you to set the individual normals on a per jack-pair basis. This enables you to full-normal (FN), half-normal (HN), or non-normal (NN), individual bussed grounds (B) on a per-row basis. You can also have the unit share a common (bussed) ground, or the grounds can be vertically strapped (GVS).
 
To change any normal, simply pull the panel out from the front and move the Quick-Switch™ shunt to the desired setting.
