A studio can truly achieve perfect stability with the power of Atomic Clock. The OCX, OCX-V and Trinity are the only Master Clocks capable of locking to this unprecedented technology.Intuitive Design No nested menus to scroll through, control positions are plainly visible on front panel of the unit.Antelope Clocking. Driven by the Highest Quality Oscillator in Existence. The core of any master clock is the Crystal Oscillator, and clock performance is impacted greatly by the type of Oscillator used. While other master clocks cut corners with their Oscillators, Antelope chose the best. The Oven Controlled Discrete Transistor Crystal Oscillator is without question the most stable, jitter free in existence. Before the OCX, these oscillators were found only in aerospace and telecommunication hardware designed for critical operations. The OCX is the only master clock to address jitter at the source. Its Oven Controlled Discrete Transistor Oscillator provides 4X-6X less jitter and 100X greater stability than its closest competitor.Acoustically Focused Clocking, The Next Generation of DDS Technology Connecting a device to the OCX will make it sound noticeably better. This is achieved with Antelope's exclusive Acoustically Focused Clocking technology (AFC). AFC is the 3rd generation of DDS, a technology introduced over ten years ago by Isochrone engineer Igor Levin with his ground breaking Aardsync master clock. The AardSync was immediately recognized as the industry's best sounding clock. It's successor, the AardSyncII, provided even greater sonic benefits with its 2nd generation DDS technology. This legacy of amazing sound continues to evolve with AFC. AFC was designed to provide far more than impressive specs, Advanced engineering combined with exhaustive listening tests culminated in AFC's extraordinary sound.Peace of Mind Clocking is a critical task, and should never be complex. With straightforward controls dedicated to specific tasks, warning lights for critical errors, and a highly visible, accurate frequency display, the OCX's operating status is apparent with a momentary glance.

It's About Time...
For years audio professionals have been requesting that Apogee make their legendary clocking technology available in a stand-alone master clock. We have responded not only by making it available but by making it revolutionary. Apogee’s BIG BEN is already astonishing users with its ability to bring amazing clarity and quality to audio production while providing flexibility and features like no other studio clock before.
A Cure for the Jitters – Apogee’s new “C777” Clock
At the heart of any word clock regeneration is a phase lock loop (PLL). The PLL is a combination of analog and digital elements without the ability to dynamically adapt to the nature of the external clocks. In other words, the better the clock performance, the less flexibility it has. And conversely, the more flexibility there is in a PLL, the less effective it is at jitter reduction. Apogee’s new C777 is built to address these inadequacies. The C777 utilizes an entirely digital process that Apogee has developed using the most advanced Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology available along with DSP based digital filtering. The result is the most aggressive jitter reduction ever. With the flexibility and stability provided the C777, Big Ben is able to re-clock devices with excessive jitter and function as if it were the master clock. The ultimate in flexibility combined with unprecedented levels of performance make the C777 unequaled in the world of clocking.
Added Flexibility with Format Conversion
Not that you would expect it from a master clock, BIG BEN gives you the option of real-time format conversion. Use BIG BEN’s intuitive digital display to go from S/PDIF to AES, AES to ADAT, ADAT to S/PDIF, etc.
X-Video Expansion Card for Video-Sync Generation
The multi-standard X-Video card will allow BIG BEN to function as a master video sync generator, outputting a composite video black-burst (including color burst for PAL and NTSC color). When functioning as a master video sync generator BIG BEN can perform as a clock slave to the video-board and generate digital audio clocks based on the video standard selected. Alternatively, the X-Video card can function as a Slave video sync generator. In this mode the output video will be a regeneration of the input video. The X-Video card will maintain the color-phase and field information through “Genlocking”, while simultaneously stripping the original signal from its pixel information.
“Adaptive Loop Filtering” (ALF)
ALF maximizes BIG BEN’s clocking ability with an intelligent low pass filter. Because the C777 has made all incoming signals into data (1’s and 0’s) BIG BEN is able to dynamically compensate for excessive jitter and even improve already acceptable clock signals to levels unattainable until now. No matter what your input looks like, ALF can adapt and overcome all obstacles to create a stable, reliable, low jitter clock source.
“SureLock”... Your Drop out Defense
So, BIG BEN is masterfully handling external clock signals and all of their anomalies and you’ve got your jitters under control. What if BIG BEN encounters the ultimate disturbance in clocking, a dropped signal? Not to worry, with “SureLock” BIG BEN will compensate by remaining locked on the last relevant frequency sent by the delinquent device. When the signal resumes, BIG BEN will gradually, and smoothly re-synchronize without interruption.
Termination Issues... A Thing of the Past
Very often in an elaborate audio chain word clock signals are improperly terminated. BIG BEN will chime in with a visual indication of over or under termination on it’s digital display for each word clock output, allowing you to troubleshoot more quickly and get back to business.
The Black Lion Micro Clock mk2
is a radical departure in design from its predecessor. It features
ultra-low jitter third order crystal oscillators with a revolutionary
patent-pending high current parallel drive circuit designed to increase
the amount of desirable harmonics within the clock's spectral band. In
addition to this, our proprietary noise reduction circuitry dramatically
eliminates the unwanted switching harmonics normally found in digital
signals. These are musically unrelated signals that create distortion
and phase cancellation within the converted audio signal. Because of
these technological advances, the Micro Clock mk2 is one of the best
performing external word clocks within the pro audio market today.
When we introduced the Micro Clock mk2 we didn't anticipate the amount
of demand and controversy that managed to accompany it. External
clocking is certainly a hot button issue. Some folks maintain that
there's no basis for it; that it's a sort of modern "emperor's new
clothes." The reasoning behind this is that the device being clocked
externally will simply filter the incoming clock signal through its
phase lock loop, thereby eliminating any sort of benefit associated with
the superior clock. In addition, the simple act of accepting the
incoming signal and creating a new signal that's in phase will add some
jitter.
The biggest problem with this theory is that we know nothing about the
PLL filter in question; it's completely hypothetical. Many PLL's in pro
audio are designed to filter out unwanted signals that are outside of
the desired bandwidth, although some are configured to filter out
unwanted harmonics that lie within the signal's frequency band. It's
incredibly rare to find one that does both at the same time. In the case
of the Micro Clock mk2, there is very little undesirable in-band or out
of band content (below 10 picoseconds using a Delta Sigma average).
There is, however, an abundance of desirable harmonically related
in-band spectral content; more so than the average internal clock. No
PLL filter is designed to remove these desirable harmonics; they're busy
trying to remove the unwanted stuff. Simply put, the Micro Clock mk2
will not only provide audible improvement to your conversion process,
but it will do it as well as or better than any other external clock on
the market today.
Specifications
Output: 3 galvanic-isolated BNC with fixed 75 ohm terminations @ 6 volts peak to peakPower: 9-12 volts DCSampling rates: six selectable rates, 44.1 kHz-192 kHz Jitter: maximum 1 pico
second of intrinsic jitter, less than 10 picoseconds of accumulated
jitter measured using a delta sigma averaging method.
The Micro Clock mk2 is simple and probably even boring looking by most
standards. It's housed in a rugged yet basic 3 inch by 4 inch chassis
that provides optimum RF shielding. It has no lights, no frequency
display, and none of the usual visual candy that your friends might
envy, but that's because those items create unwanted noise that affect
the signal. For a modest black box, it does its job incredibly well and
at a price that's unheard of for this level of performance!
The power supply is 12 volts DC using a wall wart that's capable of
accepting both 120 and 240 volts AC. It features six selectable output
frequencies from 44.1 kHz on up to 192 kHz. Output level is
approximately 4 volts peak to peak. Jitter at the crystal oscillator is
approximately 1 picosecond RMS, and it's just under 10 picoseconds RMS
at the output. Both of these figures are obtained using a Delta Sigma
averaging method. The Micro Clock mk2 is compatible with all modern
digital devices that have 75 ohm BNC word clock input.

It is now widely accepted that one of the essential requirements for high quality digital recording is a first class, high stability master clock generator. These can be complicated devices with many added features, which although useful, may be surplus to requirements. The aim of Drawmer's M-Clock Lite is to provide a simple, high quality clock generator, which is forward compatible with high speed clocks predicted for the future. M-Clock Lite features an AES Grade 1 master clock generator, meaning that the generated clock has a long term frequency accuracy of +/- 1ppm.M-Clock Lite offers clock rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8 and 384kHz at extremely low jitter. An external clock input allows the user to select an alternative clock source without having to re-route clock cables. 10 Outputs are provided, 8 at the rear and 2 for easy access on the front panel.
Drawmer M-Clock Plus is a high stability master clock generator offering clock rates from 44.1 to 192kHz, coupled to two sample rate converters, which allow material to be re-sampled and syncronised to the selected high precision clock. In addition to the internal clocks, M-Clock Plus can sync to either external word clock or clocks from AES/EBU signals. Precision clock frequency measurement and display indicates the exact frequency of the selected clock, whether internal or external, to an accuracy of 2ppm.M-Clock Plus has an external word clock input and an AES11 input which retrieves the clock from an AES audio signal. Each sample rate converter has selectable AES, SPDIF or TOSLINK inputs, with simultaneous AES, SPDIF and TOSLINK outputs. This allows many possibilities for format conversion as well as sample rate conversion. Sample rate converter #2 has inputs on the front panel for easy access. User selectable word length of 16 or 24 bits with automatic dither generation - particularly valuable for 16 bit word lengths at low signal levels. 10 word clock outputs - 8 at the rear and 2 at the front for easy access.

The Rosendahl MIF3 generates LTC and MTC simultaneously from LTC or MTC sources. Consequently the box can be used as LTC to MTC and MTC to LTC converter as well as LTC and MTC refresher. Rosendahl sync algorithms suppress time code jitter and drop outs to allow the use of unstable, jittery MTC sources produced by most PC and MAC based audio workstations. In the generator mode the unit works as a MMC (Midi Machine Control) controlled virtual machine with MTC and LTC outputs. Most DAW and MIDI-Sequencer programs can output MMC commands for start, stop and locate functions. The time code outputs follow positional, reverse and looped time code. Instant cue software stops and restarts the time code slaved systems when the master time code is looping or jumping. Eight internal DIP switches serve to enable special functions as midi output mode for cueing, time code standard conversion (electronic gear box), time code speed measurement and the standard default setting. The interface has a robust aluminium housing, a large 7-segment LED display and a built-in power supply. An optional rackmount kit for fitting the unit into a 19 inch rack is also available.
Rosendahl Nanoclocks is a word clock distributor with integrated audio master clock generator, dual inputs with frequency status indicators and programmable output matrix - a flexible tool for all extensive digital audio installations. The unit provides two transformer isolated word clock inputs and 12 word clock outputs to receive and distribute word clock signals over long distances. Ground potential variations, similar to earthloop induced hum in analog audio, can cause jitter in clock signals, a transformer isolated input eliminates this effect. In operation mode DISTRIBUTOR the two inputs A and B can be routed individually to each of the 12 outputs. Ten LEDs on the front panel indicate the sample rate of the incoming signals. Input B also accepts Fs x256 signals (also known as super clock). GENERATOR mode changes the unit into a ultra low jitter audio master clock generator with 12 programmable outputs. Supported sample rates are 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192 kHz as well as the respective super clocks (Fs x256). FAILSAFE mode is a broadcast application, which monitors the two input signals and performs an automatic switch over of all 12 outputs if the primary word clock signal fails.
Features:
Two transformer isolated word clock inputs and 12 word clock outputs
Dual frequency status indicators
Internal ultra low jitter audio master clock generator
