The new Audio Ease Altiverb 7 looks and feels better than ever. Often used controls all line up on the front, while the more exotic ones are in drawers beneath.Picture Browser The IR library is more accessible than ever because of Altiverb's new visual browser: quicker loading, organize-by-size, and single click favorites.Keyword Searching A powerful keyword search field makes you find items like 'metallic resonances' 'bed room', 'street slapback' or 'brick studio'Brightness An algorithmic synthetic reverb layer that is tightly tailored to the impulse response provides a type of brightness that an EQ could never boost from a real world room.News Keep your IR library up to date from within Altiverb. You can go into Altiverb's news tab, see what's new and proceed to download and install without restarting, all from within Altiverb 7.Similar The room does work, but it is not quite the perfect one yet? Hit Similar and Altiverb will suggest similar sounding alternatives to the chosen impulse response.TDM simplified In Altiverb 7 XL, the TDM chip management can be done from within Altiverb, using one handy pop-up menu. This feature does away with the long list of Altiverbs in the TDM plug-in popup. On top of that Altiverb 7 XL allows the loading of all IR types (down to mono in / mono out) into a stereo to quad instance of Altiverb. Total Recall Automation Everything, including the impulse response choice is automatable in Altiverb 7. This means that you do not have to jump through hoops to fully automate Altiverb 7. And while there are still single-click snapshots, you do not need them to automate Altiverb. You can even read which IR is chosen in the automation curve.Drag and drop Just drop any audio onto Altiverb 7 to use it as an impulse response: sweep recordings, several type claps or bangs, or any kind of experimental audio like crashing cars or piano chords. The drag and drop IR feature includes new make-up curves that allows the making of decent IRs using a handheld portable radio, or even slates. Chaos Dial in a bit of chaotic modulation and not every hit will sound identical in the reverb. As a bonus tonal material will be dispersed which means that slightly out of tune notes will be covered up in the reverb tail.Interactive EQ curve To operate the equalizers you can still use the familiar turning knobs. But Altiverb 7 adds an interactive equalizer curve that allows you to set all four bands including the widths of the parametric ones. And More... Altiverb supports 64 bits. It has a new reverb gate and straightforward pre-delay and attack parameters. Times can be set in note values locked to your song's tempo, and you have 10 times as much space in the stage positioner.

A new plug-in from Digidesign designed exclusively for the new HD|Accel card, ReVibe provides Pro Tools TDM users with a reverb-modeling tool that can handle any reverberation task. The 96 kHz-capable ReVibe includes nine entirely new reverb algorithms combined with over 200 early room reflection/coloration models. If you use reverb to enhance your mix (and who doesn't), AND you're thinking about staying in the "virtual" domain, ReVibe is the plug-in you've been waiting for!
Digidesign ReVibe at a Glance:
Room Modeling at its best means life-sized reverbs
Stereo AND surround sound reverb capabilities
High-definition reverb for the most demanding studio needs
Incredibly flexible, yet easy to use
Room Modeling
ReVibe's innovative Room Modeling algorithms allow combinations of different room reflections and coloration. Interactive displays are used throughout the ReVibe plug-in, making it even easier to visualize and edit reverb characteristics.
ReVibe reflects an entirely new approach to reverb. Its reverb modeling capabilities add an entirely new range of possibilities, which extend beyond any existing reverb technology. As such, ReVibe's ability to accurately model many types of real spaces as well as springs and plates is an ideal complement to Reverb One's classic digital reverb sound.
ReVibe includes nine new reverb algorithms and over 200 Room Types/early reflections, enabling you to easily dial in the reverberant space you're seeking. Employing an innovative approach to room coloration, ReVibe's room characteristics - accurate representations of a room's "sound" or "ambience" - can be added to a reverb along with an early reflection. Early reflections and room coloration are adjusted via a single control called Room Type.
Stereo or multi-channel reverbs
ReVibe is a full-featured mono, stereo and surround reverb plug-in with an extensive set of room-modeling controls. It builds upon the intuitive user interface of Digidesign's Reverb One through increased functionality, while upholding the sound quality standards typical of professional Digidesign TDM plug-ins.
While ReVibe is highly optimized for multi-channel processing, it also functions just as well in mono and stereo applications. Particularly useful in music production applications, all of ReVibe's multi-channel controls are also available in mono and stereo instances, and add more density and presence to the reverb.
96kHz support!
ReVibe also includes native 96kHz processing, allowing for its algorithm to process audio at 96 kHz without the need for sample rate conversion. ReVibe is optimized for 96 kHz mixing and engineered to take full advantage of the increased power and memory of the new 321 DSP chips residing on the HD Accel card.
Amazingly powerful, yet easy to "get"
ReVibe's user interface utilizes some of the same interactive displays found in Reverb One, with enhancements that make them even more informative. Reverb reflections and shape can be displayed independently for front and rear channels. And Reverb EQ and Reverb Color have been combined into a single interactive graph that accurately displays the frequency and gain of the EQ and coloration.
Digidesign ReVibe Features:
Superior, professional room modeling functionality
Nine different reverb algorithms
Multi-channel reverb controls
Interactive displays for EQ, Decay Color, Early Reflections, and Reverb Shape
Extensive set of Early Reflections and Room Types
Supports up to 5.1 Pro Tools multi-channel formats

Eventide Blackhole is a massive reverberator that has evolved over the years by pulling in mass quantities of time and energy (of the development persuasion, of course). In its earliest incarnation – first in the DSP4000 and later in the H8000 flagship processors - it was regarded, by some, as a secret weapon. Recently it was tuned, expanded and enhanced and then unleashed in the Eventide Space stompbox. Now, it's available as a Native plug-in.
The Eventide Reverb 2016 is a multi-effects plug-in from Eventide that incorporates a pair of delays, pre and post stereo three-band EQ, a high-quality compressor and a Lo-Fi effect! The look of the Eventide Reverb plug-in is simple, presenting operators with a single graphical user interface that features all of the tools in a single window. A unique snapshot feature provides an intuitive way to capture or recall parameter settings with a single mouse click.Sonic Excellence The sound quality is equally compelling. The Eventide Reverb 2016 plug-in uses the highest quality reverb algorithms from their flagship Orville, including halls, chambers, plates, rooms, and Lo-Fi effects. Each reverb type offers three-band stereo parametric equalization both before and after the reverb, reverb contour for built-in tone shaping, a pair of delay lines with filters, and a high-quality compressor.
The Eventide Space Station is a signal processor that uses time delay techniques. It's different than just a plain digital delay those usually have one or perhaps 2 taps. The Space Station has eight taps just for listening: These are called Audition Delay Taps. There are a number of others used to synthesize reverb and echo. You can think of the Space Station like a multi-head tape recorder, operating with a loop of tape 255 milliseconds long. The tape is like the Space Station audio memory and the multiple playback heads are akin to the Space Station's multiple taps. The eight Audition Delay Taps are placed along this imaginary piece of tape with a resolution of 1 millisecond, and can be repositioned at will to any of 16 pre-programmed patterns. You also have continuous control over another tap, the Echo tap (active in Echo mode), which can be set from 1 to 255 milliseconds and can be fed back to the input to create the traditional effects of tape loops. A Reverb mode is also available. Proprietary internal programming randomizes these taps so that they can be stably fed back to produce reverberation. The equalized sum of these taps appears at a pot (Reverb/Echo Feedback) where the level of this sum can be adjusted to create any decay time from zero to about 3.5 seconds. An important part of the Space Station's fundamental concept is contained in two groups of delay taps, one for auditioning (output) and the other for reverberation. They operate independently of each other; that is, the Audition Delay Taps set up a way of hearing the contents of memory, while the Reverberation or Echo taps, when fed back, determine the type of reverberant sound existing in the memory. Each acts independently so that endless varieties of sound can be created. For example, a sound approximating normal room reverberation may be set up by feedback, and then auditioned with any of the 16 programs to sound like rooms, like a slap, an echo, or even a reverberating comb filter. Or, a comb-like reverberation effect can be set up by feedback and then auditioned in a room, another comb, or as echo, slap, etc. Even more versatility derives from the built-in mixer, where Audition Taps may be mixed in any desired ratio to emphasize earlier reflections, to delay the onset of reverb, etc. The possibilities are endless yet the front panel is intuitive, due in part to the flow chart displayed on the background graphic of the plug-in. You'll find that you will be able to create a wide variety of effects on a wide range of input sources with the Space Station.
The IK Multimedia CSR Classik Studio Reverb is a suite of four high-end studio-quality reverbs modeled after popular outboard classics. Now anyone can afford the quality sound of a signature reverb in their studio.
One of the most complete reverb suites to hit the market
Classik Studio Reverb offers in a single product, a suite of 4 high-quality reverb plug-ins: Plate, Hall, Room and Inverse. All are designed to give the same sound of an acclaimed high-quality outboard reverb unit. With a myriad of options and parameters to choose from, Classik Studio Reverb is truly a complete, great sounding package that can adapt to any mix situation with ease.
A musicality that rivals high-end outboard gear for a sound that sits perfectly in any mix
CSR offers high-quality, musical reverb processing with the flexibility previously available only in extremely expensive signature hardware reverb units. It carries the quality and character that top engineers have utilized for years. CSR is designed to get the maximum musicality, recreate the character that has made your favorite hit records, and that classic sound that sits perfectly in any mix.
Easy to use with advanced editing features, CSR is suitable for any user from beginner to pro
CSR has been designed for ease of use with advanced editing features. With the look and feel of a typical effects rack on the interface, all the necessary controls are laid out for an immediate great sound. All knobs and macro controls can be automated through your host’s sequencer. From the beginner to professional engineer, you won’t have a problem getting your desired result from CSR.
Ease of use for the beginning musician
CSR offers two modes: Easy and Advanced, coupled with more than 100 parameters. Easy Mode puts the most commonly changed controls on the front panel of the plug-in, making CSR an easy to use and quick solution when a high-quality reverb is needed. You shape the sound using only six parameters: Mix, Diffusion, Reverb Time, Low Frequency Gain, High Frequency Cutoff, and High Frequency Dampening; giving you full control over the main character of the reverb.
Depth and complexity for the professional engineer
In Advanced Mode, you will find an array of highly developed modeling and shaping controls that are hard to find in any reverb. All parameters, the Modulation Matrix, and Macro Controls, can be adjusted and changed to create the reverb effect that you need, tailored to the very finest detail. The Modulation Matrix is an 8x8 structure; meaning that 8 modulation sources can manipulate 8 destinations. For example, to apply an envelope to your reverb time, you can fine-tune the tail for a specific reverb sound. Or, use an LFO to modulate the reverb image, creating movement in the acoustic space.
A new level of texture and innovative programming potential
Macro controls can be created allowing complex sweeping changes in Classik Studio Reverb’s effects, virtually transferring environments at your command. You can associate up to 8 different CSR controls to a simple Macro slider, therefore making morphing between different reverb settings easier than ever. In both Easy and Advanced Modes, it is always simple to find that perfect sound. A convenient A/B comparison allows you to quickly apply modifications and compare between two reverb settings in a snap.
A flexibility that cannot be found in today’s popular impulse reverbs, with less strain on your CPU
While impulse reverbs have gained a lot of popularity because of their particular emulation of environment reverberation, they are inherently CPU-intensive. They typically lack the particular musical sound and editing possibilities that famous studio digital reverbs have always offered. CSR is not only less demanding in your processor, but much more flexible than impulse-based technologies. Now you have the ability to manipulate and shape reverbs from a number of angles, giving you performance that mirrors high-end studio quality.
Compatibility and flexibility for any studio
CSR offers a reverb solution for virtually any computer-based musician. VST, RTAS, and Audio Units formats are included for Mac and PC, allowing CSR to work as a plug-in with popular virtual studio environments such as: Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Sonar, Ableton Live, and more.

Trax Transformer is based on an augmented phase vocoder technology, and a
cutting edge transformation algorithm, allowing for manipulating
characteristic properties of a voice such as gender, age and breath, and
on any other sound; expression, formant and pitch.
These voice transformation algorithms have already been used, with great
success, in international and French cinema productions. (Farinelli,
Vatel, Tirésia, Les amours d'Astrée and Céladon).
Ircam Trax Cross Synthesis Spectral Envelope Morphing Processor
TRAX Cross Synthesis utilizes a phase vocoder (the amplitude and the
frequency/phase spectra), to morph the spectral characteristics of two
sounds. The amplitude and frequency/phase spectra can be blended
continuously and since the features that are used here are strongly
nonlinear, the sound morphing is nonlinear as well, offering a way to
create a wide range of new exciting and unusual sound effects.
Ircam Trax Source Filter Enhanced Sound Filtering Processor
Trax Source Filter is based on a signal model decomposing the signal
into a time envelope describing the energy/loudness contour of the
sound, and a spectral envelope describing the spectral colour of the
sound timbre. The energy contour and the spectral colour of the source
sound, can be continuously blended with the spectral colour and energy
contour of an arbitrary filtrating sound, allowing transformation that
extend well beyond the more common source filter morphing effect.

The PSP 84 is a high-quality
processor, capable of producing a wide variety of delay-based effects.
Two independent delay lines operating with variable sampling rate and
precise tape saturation algorithm with adjustable gain, allow for
convincingly sounding simulation of tape delay, including all the
exciting effects resulting from tape speed instability. A filtration
section consisting of three 2nd order switchable resonant filter types
can be used to process input, feedback or wet signal. The adjustable
slope of the filter ranges from a gentle curve, which is useful for
simulating high frequency absorption typical for tape delay and wet
signal equalization to an extremely steep curve with a high cutoff
frequency peak, making all the wild wah-wah and resonance effects
easily available. Delay line sampling rate and filter cutoff can be
modulated by any of the 5 LFO waveforms that are automatically
synchronized to the sequencer tempo or envelope follower with
adjustable sensitivity and attack/release. Moreover, the PSP 84
contains the fully functional reverb unit, with simplified settings
carefully tuned to exactly reproduce the sound of classic spring and
plate reverberators.
The PSP 84 Features:
High quality, unique signal processing algorithms, Up to 10 seconds of delay time per channel (depending on internal sampling frequency), Continuous control over the delay time with little harmonic distortion, Cross-channel feedback and independent channel settings with channel link mode, Tape saturation simulation with adjustable gain based on the algorithm used in the line of our mastering processors, Modulation section consisting of LFO and envelope follower mixed in any proportions, 5 click-free LFO waveforms and variable LFO channel phase offset, LP, BP, HP filter with adjustable cutoff and resonance, Flexible filter routing capabilities, Vintage reverberation module for faithful simulation of spring and plate reverb characteristics, Parameter filtration for smooth and click-free operation, Support for sampling rates of up to 192kHz, MIDI and VST automation of all parameters, Logic Control support, 60 presets for easy start.
Applications:
The PSP 84 is primarily meant for applying to individual tracks within
a mix and experimenting with drum and synth loops. The included presets
reveal its huge potential in processing vocal, guitar and bass tracks.
Though it can be succesfully used for adding classic sounding delay,
its capabilities go far beyond that. The PSP 84's independent channel
settings and cross-channel feedback allow for creating animated delay
effects that are more spacial and cut better through the mix than a
simple center-panned delay. Resonant filters and a modulation section
that synchronizes to the host tempo make it possible to create superb
auto-wah-wah effects, warm smoky dub sweeps, evolving ambient textures,
as well as to easily shape the wet signal's spectral contents. The PSP
84 can create both pristine clean sounding echoes or degenerate the
signal to great extent - all depending on your needs -, thanks to the
variable internal sampling rate allowing the pitch-twist effects, rich
vocal doublers, flangers and unsurpassed detune effects to be achieved.
Guitarists that are not satisfied with dry and cold sounding tracks
recorded using direct-boxes will appreciate saturation algorithm, great
for adding mild overdrive and harmonic contents enrichment. Last but
not least, the unique reverberation unit allows for adding space and
warmth that most of the digital reverbs lack.
Minimum system requirements:

The PSP EasyVerb is a
reverberation effect plug-in. The PSP EasyVerb contains nine high
quality reverb algorithms designed to simulate physical spaces
(ambience, room, chamber, club, hall, arena, cathedral) or popular
reverb machines such as plate and spring reverbs. In developing this
plug-in, we endeavored to make it simple to use, while offering enough
control over each algorithm for you to customize the effect to your
specific needs. In other words we wanted to offer you a reverb that is
operationally “easy,” but sonically complex!
The PSP EasyVerb Features:
9 high quality reverberation algorithms easy control over general algorithms' parameters low shelf and high shelf filters up to 96kHz sample rate support library of presets
Minimum system requirements:

The Lexicon PSP 42 is a
high-quality digital stereo delay and phrase sampler plug-in based on the legendary Lexicon PCM
42 processor famous for its distinctive sound and unique concept.
Lexicon PSP 42 has been carefully designed to accurately reproduce the
flexibility and warmth of this renowned classic. This has been
accomplished by incorporating precise tape saturation algorithm and a
delay line operating with variable sampling rate which simulates
physical properties of vintage tape machine delays. The plug-in has
been designed with consideration to preserve maximum signal quality at
every processing stage.
The Lexicon PSP 42 is capable of generating wide variety of delay-based
effects ranging from tempo-locked feedback delay with high frequency
absorption and tape saturation to flanging and phasing effects. A
flexible modulation section for continuous delay time and pitch control
allows the user to add subtle animation or swing to the processed
signal as well as to create unpredictable, alien sounds when pushed to
its limits. The freely adjustable delay line sampling frequency makes
Lexicon PSP 42 a good tool for creating low-fi effects that sound
smooth thanks to the superior characteristics of employed interpolation
algorithm. Close attention has been paid to make the unit operate
without audible clicks or pops.
PSP is the sole developer and manufacturer of the Lexicon PSP 42.
Functionality and sound of the Lexicon PSP 42 have been approved by
Lexicon. PSP is responsible for all customer support.
The Lexicon PSP 42 Features:
High quality signal processing algorithms, Up to 9600 ms of delay time depending on internal sampling frequency, Continuous control of delay time, Tight synchronization to the host tempo and its changes, Tape saturation simulation based on the algorithm used in the line of our mastering processors, Low pass filter for high frequency absorption modeling, Modulation section with three different modulation signal sources (sinus, square, envelope detector) mixed in any proportions, Phrase sampler capability, Parameter filtration and on-the-fly cross-fades for smooth and click-free operation, Support for sampling rates of up to 192kHz, MIDI and VST automation, Logic Control support. Library of presets
Applications:
The Lexicon PSP 42 is primarily intended for processing individual
tracks within a mix. It can be productively used to add superior
sounding delay-based effects to solo instruments and vocals as well as
to simulate vintage delay with tape saturation, high frequency
absorption and variable tape speed. Tempo locking and handy modulation
section make Lexicon PSP 42 an essential tool for experimenting with
drum loops and other rhythmic patterns. Variable delay line sampling
rate allows to generate good sounding low-fi effects as well as
out-of-this-world sounds. Short delay times, pitch modulation and phase
inverters reveal Lexicon PSP 42 potentials as a source of vibrant
modulation effects such as flanger and doubler. Last but not least
Lexicon PSP 42 is a simple ring reverb for a denser output.
