Jeff Ehrenberg plays a role in Vintage King’s history not only for helping expand the company’s west coast division, but also in that he first worked with Mike and Andrew Nehra over ten years ago. In 2000, Ehrenberg joined the Nehras’ band at the time, Chrome Flies, who were set to record at the White Room, Vintage King’s flagship studio in Detroit. Already an experienced engineer and avid audiophile, Jeff spent an increasing amount of time at White Room Studios, working on Chrome Flies and some of his other projects. This experience took his studio engineering and vintage equipment knowledge to the next level and, after spending five years in Detroit, Ehrenberg decided to move back to his home state of California, taking Vintage King Audio with him. |

| About Jeffrey Ehrenberg |
 |
Jeff’s foray into audio began at a much earlier age, however, playing in garage bands and literally recording in a garage on a 1/4” 8-track when he was just 13 years old. Active in the music scene of Monterey, CA, his hometown, Ehrenberg recorded countless local underground bands, ran live sound at their shows and eventually worked professionally as a live sound engineer for concerts, live events and broadcast from age 18 to 24.
Once he relocated to Los Angeles, with an arsenal of recording gear and extensive knowledge of the industry, Ehrenberg continued to work as Vintage King’s west coast sales representative. In 2005, Ehrenberg opened Infrasonic Sound Recording Co. with fellow engineer Pete Lyman. Operating out of a custom facility in East L.A., the classic 2-inch 16/24-track hybrid analog/digital studio also serves as Vintage King’s west coast showroom. Recently, Infrasonic installed the Endless Analog CLASP system and offers tracking, mixing, production as well as CD and vinyl mastering.
When he’s not working, Ehrenberg is playing music with his current project, Dante Vs. Zombies (Jeff was also in The Starlite Desperation, signed to Capitol Records) or recording. Jeff’s history with the company and vast experience both in front of and behind the console bring a wealth of dedication and knowledge to the Vintage King team.

Hi Jeff / Vintage King Customer Service
received the equipment today. I'd just like to thank you, and Jeff in particular, for such great service, communication, and speed of delivery - everything has gone smoothly, and i really appreciate everything you've done in helping me purchase and obtain this gear.
I work in a music store myself, and to be honest, our local distributors could learn a lot from your professionalism and customer service.
thanks again,
regards
Shaun
Jeff,
By the way, I love this Equitech Son of Q box. I had feared it was yet another power conditioner that would suck the life out of audio on playback, but it is actually the opposite: Leaves the dynamics alone while lowering the noise floor and increasing amp speed and responsiveness.

Hi Jeff (Ehrenberg),
I got the U47. Picked it up at FedEx on Friday actually. As you already know it sounds great, and I’m very happy. Knowing I have a fully recapped, clean unit is a real comfort. I want to thank you for great service. Your willingness to help me out was great. :)
Again, I’m very happy!!! I will definitely turn to Vintageking in the future.
Narve.
Hey Jeffrey (Ehrenberg),
I had two Grammy wins this year - Ray LaMontagne & Carolina Chocolate Drops. Both made with help from Vintage King!

CLIENT:
DTS Entertainment - Calabasas, CA
SALES REP:

GEAR:
7 channel Barefoot Sound monitoring system |
|
CASE STUDY:
DTS, Inc., a company specializing in digital surround sound formats used for both theatrical and consumer grade applications, recently purchased a 7-channel Barefoot Sound monitoring system from Vintage King Audio, under the direction of West Coast sales representative, Jeffrey Ehrenberg.
The monitors were installed in DTS’ “Mastering Room,” at company headquarters in Calabasas, CA. Used for listening tests, mixing (music and audio for video clips mainly), and mastering in 7.1, the Barefoot MM27’s are the only speakers in the room. “Testing high end codecs can be quite challenging because we are constantly pushing a human’s ability to detect change in the audio to the absolute limit,” says Kent Moore of DTS, Inc. “The only way to test this accurately is with accurate equipment and the Barefoot MM27’s meet this requirement. The mid range clarity is incredible for an active pro audio speaker.”
