Every week our staff services an incredible variety of used and vintage pieces in two categories: outside repairs sent straight to our tech shop, and items for sale through Vintage King. All equipment undergoes rigorous low and high-tech testing and evaluation – and we absolutely use our ears. Because of our experience we can often anticipate notorious trouble spots and take care of them so you won’t have to. Routine steps include: clean all switches & pots, replace capacitors (most cases), diagnose & repair faults, and calibrate to factory specifications. Finally, the unit is cosmetically spruced up and re-tested to ensure that it will earn Vintage King's used Warranty. Lastly, the unit will pass through one final level of quality control testing. Vintage King’s microphone specialists take great care in scrutinizing each microphone. Our goal is to elevate each microphone to its full potential. We treat dirty and or humidity-sensitive capsules, properly align phase, and dial-in correct voltages – always cognizant of the original manufacturer's specifications and the originality of components.
