A unique, free-standing “portable” audio control room, designed by Chris Pelonis. This room can be set up in any area that has 20’ x 25’ feet of floor space, and 14’ of ceiling clearance. Entire module is presently disassembled and ready to ship anywhere from Santa Barbara, California. The shipping/storage container is NOT included in the sale price.
What IS included are the Crest FA-901 power amps, and Tannoy System 215-DMT main monitors, as well as all the building components: ceiling and wall panels, all acoustical treatments, floating floor, producers desk/racks, hardwood roll around area, and HVAC plenums and registers. HVAC can be connected directly to the ceiling of the module.
These control rooms retail for $90K; you can own one for about half that price. Re-assembly would require two-three weeks for the Soundwaves Acoustics crew, and cost approximately $10K.

Modular Iso room built for a Williamsburg, Brooklyn loft.
Like a Whisper Room, but performs much better!
Original Cost to seller $15,000 Now available at $8,000!
According to the current owner: "I could play drums every day, record drummers, practice piano in peace, etc... all in the middle of one of the loudest buildings in Brooklyn. The room was custom built by Ken Capton of Solar 2 Design, and is in perfect shape.
Great thing to own if you lease and are in a city as it can be moved when you move without having to build a new room, and thus, lose the money on building into a leased space.
I advise the use of Ken to help break down and set the room back up in the destination city where it will be used next. Once he shows you how it is done you can easily do it yourself with some help. Awesome thing to have in NYC, it can change your musical life."
