The Classic Neve 1081 EQ/Mic Pre Re-Issue Neve Outboard equipment is faithfully reproduced to the exact standards that Neve has employed ever-since the first modules were made, including the original Neve specifications for all components, design, manufacture and test.
The 1081 channel amplifier was first produced in 1972 and was used to provide the mic/line-amp and EQ sections in Neve consoles such as the 8048. A look through the credits on today’s top selling album will reveal that these vintage consoles are still widely used to great effect and that the 1081 module has become a hugely popular design classic.
By using the 1081 Channel Amplifiers, operators are assured the highest quality signal acquisition. This versatile unit provides a wide range of control and flexibility. High and low pass filters compliment the fully featured EQ section. The unit has been designed to offer the user a flexible tool to create new sounds with full technical control.
