Our company was founded in 1988 by brothers Michael and Andrew Nehra, who got started in the business with their own basement project studio. As their clientele grew, so did their aspirations, leading them to found The White Room, a full-service studio in downtown Detroit. There, they engineered and produced a decade’s worth of music including Kid Rock and their own notable project, Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise.

Realizing there was a serious deficiency in both knowledge and customer service from existing audio companies, they founded Vintage King Audio with the intention of raising industry standards. Keeping in mind their own experiences as pro-audio customers, the Nehra brothers have made customers’ values and needs a top priority, making sure all customers are treated how they themselves want to be treated.
