Joel Hamilton is a Producer/Engineer/Musician originally from Cape Cod, MA. Since the late 1990s he has been based out of Brooklyn, NY. He shares a studio with partner Tony Maimone named Studio G. He has worked with a number of well known artists[1], as well as writing for various industry publications (EQ, TapeOp)[2] and speaks regularly at industry events. In addition he is also a staff engineer at Tiny Telephone recording in San Francisco, CA.[3]
Joel Hamilton has worked with artists such as: Elvis Costello, Tom Waits,Sparklehorse, Bernie Worrell, Talib Kweli ,Justin Timberlake, Travis Morrison, Beauty Pill, Soulive, Eric Krasno, Zeena Parkins, Carla Kihlstedt, Frank Black, John Langford, Made Out of Babies,Unsane, Dub Trio, and Jolie Holland.
