Vintage King doubles the standard API Audio 5-year warranty to 10-years on most API items.

*Factory warranty on API 1608 and 1608 expander is 5 years. 10 year warranty only applies to removable API 500 series modules purchased with desk. API 10 year warranty is effective for most products purchased after July 15th, 2009.

Important Warranty Details You Should Know

Our Worry Free Warranty only applies to product failure when used under normal operating conditions. Normal wear and tear is not included (for example, rack rash, the need for a new knob as the numbers have worn off, etc). We will, however, help you get a replacement should you need one! Warranties are non-transferable. Please take a minute to read the warranty details below:

  1. Prior Authorization Required Should any issue arise for warranty service, contact our customer service department Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm Eastern Time and they will be happy to help you.   2. Product Registration For NEW item(s), it’s important that you register your product(s) to initiate the manufacturer’s warranty. Although our Worry Free Warranty extends your factory warranty, this initial registration process must be completed.
  3. Shipping Cost You are responsible for all shipping costs and insurance associated with repair, to and from Vintage King Audio. (Prior Authorization Required).
  4. NEW Manufacturer Warranties Any manufacturer warranties can be used at any time in conjunction with our 2-year warranty period.
  5. Our Worry Free Warranty is meant to keep your sessions up and running. We will do everything we can to repair your products as soon as possible. We know what it’s like to be without your favorite piece of gear and want to help. In order to protect ourselves from someone who might be less than honest or forthcoming, we reserve the right to refuse any product sent to us for warranty coverage and the right to modify the conditions of this warranty at any time.

What is a Demo Deal Item?

A "demo deal" item simply means we've had it out of the box to demonstrate to another customer on site or sent to their premises to hear in their own studio for a few days, therefore it is no longer factory-sealed. All demo items we sell come with a full manufacturer's warranty and have been evaluated by our factory authorized technical staff to ensure your "demo deal" purchase is in perfect working order before we ship it to you. How will my items be delivered?

We ship via Fed Ex. In some circumstances, we do ship via UPS or with other freight services. Your sales representative will provide all viable options to best suit your shipping needs.

FedEx Ground: U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico. 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S.;
3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii. 3-7 business days to Canada and Puerto Rico.

FedEx Saver: U.S. Delivery to businesses by 4:30 p.m. and to residences by 7 p.m, in 3 business days.

FedEx 2 Day: U.S. Delivery by 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most areas (by 7 p.m. to residences).

FedEx Standard: U.S. Next-business-day delivery by 3 p.m. to most U.S. addresses; by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas.

FedEx Priority: U.S. Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses; by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. in remote areas; by noon, 1:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

FedEx International Economy: Time-definite delivery typically in 2–5 business days (typically 2 or 3 business days to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico).

FedEx International Priority: Time-definite delivery typically in 1, 2 or 3 business days.
Reach major cities in Europe by noon typically in 2 business days.

Signature Required for Delivery: In order to protect your shipment from theft, we require a direct signature when delivered. An email will be sent upon shipment so you can check delivery dates with the tracking number provided. Please make certain someone is available to receive your package or shipping charges may incur after three delivery attempts. Any packages that require rerouting will be charged $10.00.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes we do. In fact we offer 50% off Fed Ex retail international shipping rates. Since import taxes and/or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States may apply, you, the recipient, are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.

Due to manufacturer restrictions, certain brands can not be shipped outside of the United States. Please call us to find out if the item(s) you are interested in can be shipped internationally. We can ship to any locations that use a US Postal ZIP Code such as US Military addresses, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands etc.

What do I do if my package is damaged?

Please be aware that pro audio is susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to prevent damaged items and pack shipments so that they will arrive safely, so be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us.

If an item arrives damaged, make certain you examine all boxes before acceptance. The delivering agent MUST note damage to any cartons on the release form or refuse acceptance. Notify us immediately so that we may work with you to arrange and expedite an insurance claim. Vintage King is not responsible for any denied shipping claims. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you.

Though we don’t anticipate problems occurring with your purchase, should you experience any difficulties with something not working as it should, do not hesitate to immediately contact customer service. What if I want to return an item?

We offer a no hassle return policy

If there is a problem with your order or you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us immediately so that we can promptly resolve it for you.

Vintage King Audio has a 14-day return policy from the date of shipment.

What does this mean? You must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number and show proof of return shipment by providing a tracking number before the 14-day period expires, otherwise, up to a 20% re-stocking fee may apply. Products like software, personal items (such as headphones, etc), and items which are not normally stocked ("Special Orders") are not returnable.

2. Place RA in Return Shipment We require that you place the Return Authorization (RA) form provided inside the box(s) of your return shipment of new, vintage, used or demo products. We can only accept back products in their original packaging.
3. Condition, Packaging and Content There are no refunds on any items that have been tampered with, have signs of wear or use, or are without original carton. Returns must be complete with original packaging, including accessories and documentation such as owner's manual, warranty card, software, quick start guides and so forth; otherwise a restocking fee will be charged.
4. Use a Traceable Shipping Service and Insure Your Return Place your RA inside your return using a traceable method and insure for the value of your purchase in the event of theft or damage. You are solely responsible for your purchase until your return arrives at our premises. Please keep you're tracking number as proof of delivery back to Vintage King Audio and have it available if you have any questions for us.

Restocking Fee A 20% restocking fee may apply to all returned purchases. Used, Vintage and Demo items are subject to a 5% processing fee if cancelled before delivery. Return freight costs paid by customer. If your purchase was eligible for Free Shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund. *See Non-Refundable Items.

Do you charge sales tax?

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged upon fulfillment of your order. When items are on an extended backorder, we will not charge your credit card until the order ships. Orders such as used, vintage, special order, non-stocking items or certain boutique products may require a deposit. Our sales team will be certain to provide the details needed when such a purchase may arise.

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Online orders typically process within 24 hours of order placement. Additional payment methods include check, cashier's check, PayPal, bank wire, Western Union and E-check. There is a 5–7 business day hold placed on all checks received. In-stock items normally ship within 24-48 hours after an order has been placed. If payment method is by credit card, your card will be charged as each item is shipped. We will accept cancellation of your order for items that have not shipped or that are on backorder. Once the items are shipped, no cancellation will be accepted, but you may return the goods to Vintage King for a refund. However, you will be responsible for all shipping costs to you and return shipping costs to Vintage King. For orders paid by check, please allow two weeks to receive your refund check. Up to a 20% restocking fee may apply to special ordered or opened items. Used and vintage items are subject to a 5% processing fee if cancelled before delivery.
